The dead of night is not so dead.
The crickets chirp, the dog barks.
The cars roar past, the lamppost Shines.
The dead of night where secret rendezvous occurred,
has gone and died.

Where the wind whistled and that was all,
that could be heard.
Where midnight encounters made lifelong friends,
or enduring enemies.
Where lovers met for quiet embraces.
Where alone on a grassy knoll the only things were you and your thoughts.

Gehennadevils laugh, devouring our very existences
the world decolors itself

heaven cries, as it sheds its tears down to earth
drenched in distraught, I cling at the place they once called despair
doubts flowing, shattered me into bits
entangled in lies, and continous march of insanity

this curse called living
will I be able to be true to myself?

I want to forget, I want to be forgotten
don't let me become this part of hypocrisy
trapped in the maze of madness
what lies there at my destination?

until my tears become a trail
that I realize I still had the right to call myself "human"

I muster my remaining stren

Death DreamLast night I dreamt I died and went into the light
And despite the fact I tried was forced to watch this sight
Movies of each act that I performed on earth
They recorded every fact that I had done since birth
Each time I hurt a person or each time that I stole
When I started cursing or turned someone to the cold
When I ignored a beggar's hand or made a small child cry
Each time I failed to make a stand and each time that I'd lie
The times I cheated on my wife or told an ethnic joke
The mistakes I made in life were enough to make me choke
But when they saw my tears they told me to return
To alleviate my fears and for me to start to

Shading own thoughts

Waiting to be gone

Living upon restrictions

Restricting time, money, emotions, thoughts, life itself

Throwing my emotions all around

Falling in dreams about him

Wondering if I should just fade away.

So intricately delicate
And easily broken
Afraid of being shattered

So much more brittle than glass.

She is vulnerable;
She gives so easily
With her heart on her sleeve
The wispy strands of her hair
So often drenched in sorrow
To match her tear-stained cheeks.

She feels insubstantial;
Invisible among others
Drifting through each day
A ghost in an unfamiliar body
Unnoticed by anyone
And cared about by none.

But she can be strong;
With a burning intensity
That frightens her at times
She has so much to give
And little time to spare
To those who mean nothing to her.

She moves with them,
To dull the pain.
A painted face,
With a printed smile,
Her emotions left unversitile.

She dances alone, secluded,
Forlorn and deluded.
A disaster.
And only for her twisted master.
A mental crafter,

Only I can see the tears,
And only I know all her fears.
I flick my fingers to the right,
On my command she stands up right.

She'd murder all the ones she left.

I don't know the reasons,
Or why she's bound with chains.

Where each dead end is my escape,

DreamsWhat wonders the imagination can bring
With opened ear and untamed eye
Dreams that we shall toss and fling
And float about towards the sky

By luminous light of thought
Day and night will awaken newly
And become what you have sought
To find your most distant Thule

Never letting go of that which we cherish
The spirit of innocence and truth
Why without it, what would we but perish?

Paradise.My arms ache from digging through
rough and ruin, in search of
paradise.

I saw it in a whispered dream,
there, nothing hurt;
we were unspoken.

With winter came warmth and summer snow,
And nothing died, just ceased to

SilenceThey say speaking is silver and silence is gold,
In some cases it might be true.
But there is also a truth that goes untold,
Even if it might be quite blue.

Silence is sometimes bad,
Not always so don't get upset.
Some things that are evil can make us go mad,
Some things that are even a threat.

Even if your enemies will make your blood boil,
The silence of your friends will be what hurts you more.
Words might hurt us, but silence can torment us.

Midnight DanceYour fingers slide in between mine,
Our hands perfectly entwined.
Your arm wraps tenderly around my waist,
As you whirl me around and we trace
imaginary patterns on the floor.
Everything about you I adore,
as my head lies gently on your shoulder,
And we dance a dance that is older
Than time itself.

Your scent engulfs my mind,
And brings with it memories so refined,
Filled with pure emotion,
To you I promise complete devotion.
My senses are drowned out,
So that there is no room for any doubt,
Past worries and fears I twirled
As I fell into another world.

Hope and love fill my heart
As we perfect this dying art.

Ink GravesLetterless words and pageless books-
and ink blots on the flowers;
Ghosts scratch their heads and tap their pens,
all across the hours.

Winds can howl and cease to be,
by one twitch of my pen;
I spoke of writing a poem tonight,
and by dawn I've written ten.

Emily sits aside nobody,
the Raven, above, waits;
Frost dances in a yellow wood,
among the long lost dates.

A tall, well spoken willow,
looms over the grave;
Protecting every dated word,
and every thought they gave.

I crumple another masterpiece,
with thoughts I'd thought to save;
and as it strikes the baset bottom,
it rests in its ink grave.

When love flew before me
Longing for beauty
It kissed me while in my arms
I learned the truth on how to love
But love didn't learn the truth about me

When faith came to me
Full of purity and hope
I touched it while in its grasp
It learned the way on what I long for
But I didn't see the truth it showed

this seams contradictory, it against faith but for truth, in yet truth and faith are intertwined, our faiths are how we defind truth.

That's where it gets complicated. The lyric mentions that I (the subject) learned the truth on how to love, but love itself didn't learn the truth about that subject, so in other words, someone in mankind didn't learn the truth on how to love, and the lyric mentions mankind needs truth, since the world is full of lies.

And for faith, that was written on more of a personal level of experience. When faith came to me (the subject), faith from someone of mankind knows that the subject tends to trust and be loyal, but in the end, that person ended up lying to the subject, hence going back that mankind needs truth, since the world is full of lies.

Hope that makes more sense
